Presented graduation paper deals with the issue of using authentic video materials in mastering lexical materials and enhancing vocabulary in teaching English vocabulary. Theoretical part of the work describes general background of the terms vocabulary itself and authentic videos, particularly authentic video materials in language teaching. The purpose of the research is to show the effect of using authentic video materials as a method of teaching lexical materials in order to improve students’ vocabulary learning. Practical part of the work discusses the usage and the ways of implementation of authentic video materials into teaching and developing language skills as well as language aspects such as vocabulary.
